As your State Representative I pledge to do the following:

End illegal immigration in the State of Missouri.

Educate your children so they can strive to meet any goal they set for themselves

Eliminate the rapid and unchecked increases in your property taxes

Protect the innocent, unborn

Defend our definition of marriage, that being between one man and one woman.

Protect the environment while fostering a sound energy policy

Protect our Second Amendment and hunting rights

Control health care costs

Institute voter identification

Decrease, yes decrease, government spending

Complete the Page Avenue extension

Work with local officials to complete these pledges

There are certain biases and views you can expect when you ask someones party affiliation. I am a Conservative first and a Republican second. I think that some republican elected officials have lost sight of their principled views on isssues.

I believe the following...

...the proper function of government is to do for the people those things that have to be done but cannot be done, or cannot be done as well, by individuals, and that the most effective government is government closest to the people

...good government is based upon individual freedoms and responsibilities

...free enterprise, capitailsm, Entrepreneurialism, and the encouragement of individual initiative and incentive

...sound fiscal responsibility

...equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity for all, regardless of race, creed, age, sex or national origin

... retain the principles of the past worth retaining, yet always be receptive to new ideas with an outlook broad enough to accommodate thoughtful change

The Republican Party is the best vehicle for translating these ideals into positive and successful principles of government.
